AMEN
Donation

The "12-Days of Christmas" Food Drive was held December 3-14.
Approximately 1,000 items were donated by customers, members
and employees and was delivered
to The Fayette County AMEN Food Pantry in time for Christmas
distributions.

SANTA PAWS

The Third Annual Santa
Paws was held Saturday, December 15.
Donations of pet supplies and food were also made during the
Santa-Pet photo session.
All proceeds from the event will be made to The Fayette County
Animal Shelter.

"Hotter Than Heck"
Profits $15,600 for Fire Dept.'s

Colorado Valley
Communications Employee Sponsored Charity Golf Tournament
Raised $15,600 which was donated to 13 area Volunteer Fire
Departments on November 21, 2007. Over $125,000 has been
donated to the fire departments over the last seven years.

"Surfin' For A
Cure" donates total of over $3,900
to the American Cancer Society

Fund raiser consisted
of two drive-thru suppers, three bake sales and Luminaria
sales.
The La Grange Relay For Life was held September 22-23.

Colorado Valley
Communications employees sponsored a drive-thru dinner at the
La Grange Knights of Columbus Hall on Wednesday, June 13.
Proceeds from the dinner & bake sale will benefit the Fayette County
American Cancer Society Relay for Life which will be held September
22-23.

Animal Shelter receives $500
March 9, 2007

The Fayette County Animal Shelter was the recipient
of a $500 donation on March 9. Employees held the second
annual Santa Paws fund-raiser in December, where pet owners
had their pets' picture taken with Santa for a small fee. Other
items, such as food, treats and supplies were donated to the
shelter immediately following the event. Accepting the
donation are (front row) Niki Powell and Pam Huffman of the
Animal Shelter. Also in the picture are employees who worked
at Santa Paws (second row) Laurie Oppermann, Rosa Filmore, Pat
Zbranek & Zeke (whom was adopted from the shelter in January),
Carolyn Bertsch and Bonnie Schielack, and (back row) Michelle
Martin, Randy Freudenberg and Scott Martin.

$200 to local Boy
Scouts
March 2, 2007

Colorado Valley Communications Employee Charity Fund donated
$200 to the local Boy Scouts for putting up and taking down
the American and Texas flags which surrounded the Fayette
County Courthouse in recognition of Texas Independence Day on
Friday, March 2.
