Spam Filtering For Your Website Email Accounts
Before you enable spam filtering for email ending with @yourwebaddress.com please read the different options available below.
Tag and Deliver Spam
Email which the spam filter identifies as spam will have
**SPAM**
added to the beginning of the subject line. The tagged email is then
delivered along with your legitimate email when your software downloads
new messages.
Some people use this method in conjunction with mail filtering rules in their email software (ex. Outlook Express) to direct any incoming email with **SPAM** in the subject directly to their Deleted Items folder, or a special Spam folder they create. Click here for "Tag and Deliver" setup instructions.

Quarantine Spam
Email which the spam filter classifies as spam will be placed in the "Junk"
folder on the mail server. These messages are not downloaded to your email
software when you check for new mail.
To view these messages you must login to your email address web-based at http://webmail.cvtv.net and click on the folder named Junk.
NOTE: You must remember to login to webmail periodically to delete the messages stored the Junk folder as they count against your allotted amount of email storage space. Click here for "Quarantine Spam" setup instructions. When your mailbox is full people will receive error attempting to send you email stating "mailbox full".
