DSL Setup Instructions For Windows 2000

Our server automatically configures your DSL connect settings. All you have to do is configure your computer to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server addresses automatically". To do this follow the instructions below for Windows 2000.

A.) Click Start B.) Choose Settings C.) Click Control Panel

In the Control Panel double-click the
Network and Dial-up Connections icon

Double-click the icon corresponding to your
network card "Local Area Connection"

Double-click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" |

Place the radial buttons next to: "Obtain and IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server addresses automatically"
Press all OK buttons for the settings to take affect. You should now be able to surf the web. |

Additional Setup Information:
If you have migrated from a dial-up connection to DSL you may need adjust a setting in Internet Explorer so that your computer will not attempt to dial a connection. To do this:
Start Internet Explorer
Click Tools and choose Internet Options
Press the Connections tab at the top
In the middle of the Connections screen place the radial button next to "Never dial a connection".
Press Apply and OK.
