Why You May Be Receiving The Same Email Over and Over

When your email software retrieves your messages it is accessing your mailbox on our server and downloading your email
(see image below).

These email messages must be handed to your computer in consecutive order.  If there are 10 messages your email software starts at 1, 2, 3 - 10.

When the server successfully delivers all of the messages waiting for you it will delete them from our server.

Lets say message number 7 of 10 is corrupt causing your email software to give up.  The next time you check your email you will receive messages 1 - 7 all over again and you will not be able to retrieve any messages past number 7.  This also means that new email is accumulating on the server that you cannot access.

To resolve this problem simply:

1.) Login to your Online Message Center in order to view the email waiting for your on the server.  For instructions click here.

2.) Delete the email messages that you suspect are causing the problem.  You may opt to delete all unwanted messages while you are there.

Security and convenience!

Outlook, Outlook Express or Netscape downloads your email messages from the Server's Inbox.  Once these messages are successfully downloaded to your computer they are deleted from the server's inbox. Online Email Access

Allows you to view email waiting for you on the Server, view accumulating Spam and adjust your Spam protection settings.  Spam is automatically deleted after 7 days

3.) Try checking your email again with the email software you are using.

Tip:  It is important that you know how to access your Online Message Center.  This is where your Spam Folder accumulates junk mail that the filter identified.  There you can also adjust the effectiveness of your Spam Filter.
